Photographed in the mountains of Kurdistan of Rojhelat (Irani side) and Kurdistan of Bashur (Iraqi side), across a landscape divided by political borders. These caves have served as shelters for humans since prehistoric times, and continue to carry traces of refuge within a geography shaped by conflict, displacement, and shifting boundaries.
