This series comprises portraits made in eastern Kurdistan (Rojhelat), Irani side between 2007 and 2019. The photographs were made through direct encounters with people across the region and form part of a long-term photographic archive. Rather than constructing a single narrative, the series records faces, individual presence, and different encounters within a specific geographical and social landscape.
