Tribunes - 2017

A tribune is a place where an individual or a group expresses their ideas and opinions. The words spoken in this position can be met with applause, objection or indifference from the audience. In my country Iran these places have often been a place for speeches of sovereignty, praise of power, as well as propaganda of the ruling ideology. Opposition groups are not allowed to express their views, and they are always forced to remain silent. Standing in these platforms at the end of the lectures without a speaker and audience in silence for me is an experience of freedom, protest, shouting my dissenting opinions, as well as silencing all voices of propagandas.
