Farhad and Azad - 2020

Farhad Khosravi and Azad Khosravi were two Kurdish brothers from the village of "Ney" in the Marivan province, one aged 14 and the other 17 years old. Like many other peers living in poverty and unable to support themselves, they took refuge in Kolbari, the only livelihood in Kurdistan for most of the poor. On the 26th of Azar, Farhad and Azad lost their way on the mountain route during Kolbari and lost their lives due to the cold and frost. This collection is a narrative of meeting their family after this tragic tragedy and their living conditions in poverty. Their family was 4 brothers and now there are 2 brothers who have to work as a Kolbar to make a living and a similar future awaits them.
